Travis Sears has lived in McPherson since age 2. He and Katie, a McPherson native,
met while attending McPherson High School. They were married in 2001, and they
have four children.
Travis taught and coached football in McPherson county schools for 13 years, and he is
now a Maintenance Planner at the CHS refinery. Katie homeschools their two younger
children and is involved with the church worship team. The family also works together
on house-flipping projects.
They came to Grace Bible Church in 2024, and Travis became an elder in 2026. Travis
and Katie have also been leading a Bible study group in their home for college students
and young adults for several years.
